Game that includes 7 avoidances which you unlock progressively. Most of these are kind of fun but nothing special, but there are two highlights in the game for me.
The party miku is very simple and it almost seems like the boss is broken in some parts but I think it is a really fun boss; I wouldn't be surprised if it is disliked because it is very easy and then the final attack is actually tough, but super fun to dodge.
The final boss is just awesome and definitely one of Leehe's best avoidances, it looks very repetitive but it definitely does not play like that; has a few boring sections that reduce its potential but it is mostly filled with some fun and intense dodging.

Not much to say about the single screen of needle but I think the avoidance is fucking amazing. Awesome attacks that go pretty good with the song, accessible difficulty and overall just badass. Play.

Rating based around what I remember from when I played it in normal mode. Very nice variety and shows the fangame potential; however, I will elaborate on the Hard mode since that's my most recent experience with the game.
I don't think I would recommend trying the hard mode; there's definitely some fun stuff here and there, but in general, most of the buffs feel too dumb.
The platforming in Stage 1 becomes a bit more annoying and the Pokemon space shooter thing gets some nasty buffs, although I still had some fun with the challenge provided by that pokemon boss. The most notable and probably most hated change is the Taiko avoidance, as it triplicates it's length, buffs the rng, and adds multiple annoying instagibs towards the end of the avoidance.
Just play the normal version.

I was surprised to find out that this game is actually pretty fun, and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than my first experiences with the original Guy. Very charming; the physics are very different from what we are used to nowadays but they work perfectly fine for everything in this game. Recommended to try this classic.

The needle in this game is harder than the one in DP 1 but it is less tech stuff and more like, just normal jumps I guess? Not sure how to explain it but it basically depends on your skillset whether this is worse, the same, or better than the platforming in DP 1. The boss in this game is fun and way easier but not as special.

The avoidance has this weird vibe yet the sync with the song feels great, the attacks are super fun, and the last halve of it is to me one of the coolest endings to a boss. It is super intense with lots of RNG and shit coming at you from every angle and it builds up together with the song perfectly.
If you really can't stand the needle, I actually recommend just cheating to give the boss a chance.

A long needle journey. There are some ups and downs but I think it was worth going through. You can see why this guy became the Dark Souls of needle makers.

Super fun avoidance, the song and the attacks go together pretty well and it stays creative and dynamic through the entire thing. It is hard as hell, so you might be stuck here for a while. Recommended if you have the skill.

I love this avoidance, the attacks are fun to dodge, the song is an absolute banger and it has this goofy feeling to it (if you google the lyrics this gets enhanced). It has a pretty accessible difficulty but it has some RNG moments that can be a bit fucked.
Recommended. Very OKEKE game.
