Didn't get very far, the physics are definitely screwed up in this one. One sure sign something is wrong: If you hold against a wall you can jump infinitely. Throw in the aggravating color flashing and this quickly became not worth the time.

For: i wanna simple adventure
I enjoyed it! Not breaking any new ground, but a fun little exploration of the NANE gimmicks. I'd say the shuriken spikes were a bit overused, and a few of the jumps around them were a little awkward, but it's a fun short playthrough. Looking forward to this maker discovering their style and adding some more visual flare to their future projects.

For: Chill Needle 2
Once again, arzztt shows that he really has a feel for designing enjoyable needle, creating fun-to-play designs both with and without gimmicks. I consider myself to be an intermediate player, and this was the perfect difficulty for me, with none of the segments bogging me down for too long, and most of the saves feeling just right.

The bosses are fairly simple and easy, but they're by no means bad. They do a good job of sprinkling in a little bit of the gimmick from their respective stages, and they serve as a nice change of pace from the platforming. Biggest boss complaint is probably that the final boss, while mixing in attacks/arenas from the previous bosses, didn't really incorporate any of the gimmicks.

The highlights for me were the two "maze" rooms, in the VVVVVV area and the final area. Again, the platforming was elegantly designed without being frustrating or overly difficult.

A very minor gripe: I feel like a game with this much design polish and production value deserves something better than the memey handwritten text and intentionally low-end clear rooms, but I understand that's just part of arttzz's style, so I'm not gonna dwell on it.

In a year with several very solid needle releases, this has probably been my favorite so far.

For: I wanna climb the Witch's Tower
One of my favorite needle games for sure. I was a little nervous going into this one because the prequel, I Wanna Weave Through The Witch's Needle, was a bit of a grind for me, with a few segments that really got me stuck.

Witch's Tower improves on that game in just about every way, including flow and difficulty curve. The biggest improvement, though, is that it's just more fun. This game really nails that pleasing, fun-to-play feeling that good needle inspires.

Strong recommend for any fangame player.
