short review, some parts of platforming require precise control(72 76 78 84 91 96, imo),and boss battle starting from 60F are completely luck based (80f has bad design, 90f boss has a pattern followed by random curving, need close to miku, 100f boss will throw rotating spike in the last 2 phase, that will make space more smaller and high probability of being blocked

It's pretty mixed game for sure, but i feel like i have way more fun than not. Needle for the absolutely most part went pretty good, it starts with mostly traps, but the later you get the more gimmickish it will become. Some saves were occasionaly more hard than others, some bullshit throught as well, but as i say for the most part - very good. Final stage was actually pretty awesome design-wise
Bosses were different. First bosses are easy and whatever, but starting with 60F things changed. 60F boss is pink small box that will haunt you to madness basically, but the secret for win is you need to mash as hard as you can and hope for some luck. 70F is nothing, but 80F is pretty much first difficult thing. Very hard boss with some unbalanced nonsense through, with awkward pace as well, honestly i have pretty bad time with this and it's definitely not alright boss for me. 90F boss is Miku avoidance - luck-based thing, actually terrible fight, at least music was nice
Final boss is needs a specific notes. Phase 1 is very easy, just setup for the true challenge, which is phase 2. So a lot of people seems to dislike phase 2, since it's luck-based, but i would say things are not that terrible. Don't get me wrong, this boss definitely has some luck issue, but you can use some strats to make it way more bearable. Also i actually like layout and how it used for attacks, it was pretty dinamic and always interesting to do attempts. So i can't say i hate this boss, actually i liked it and has ton of fun
Overall, decent adventure with some strong moments, some bad moments; probably worth your shot if you like old stuff

Traps are disgusting. It might be better to get rid of them

Well, this game is quite the mixed bag. The production value is quite a bit more than for explorer 1 and there are a lot of cool ideas or gimmicks used which made the platforming pretty interesting. The end of the game gets pretty rough on some floors with the gimmicks and or design but mostly it stays fun. The bosses are more wwhat I had a problem wwith in this game. Most of them were pretty whatever but there were 3 tht stuck out to me, unfortunately all in bad ways. The small bouncing pixel in the small box as it is just more lucky than anything if you manage to dodge or shoot it. The suwako fight which just feels unfair due to the weird lines AND gets harder at the end and of course the final boss. I am especially disappointed by the final boss as I wanted to like it and it has cool stuff and production value but the design of it is just straight garbage. Basically the boss having 6 attacks of which you can consistently get to the last 2 and then still spend your entire time dying on those 2 is what it comes down to. Those last two attacks are just so absurdly much more difficult and potentially bullshit than the rest of the fight and it really ruins the fight. It's a shame because I do think the maker put in effort into the bosses but didn't try balancing or tried really hard to just make it hard and destroyed the fun/interesting aspect those bosses could have had. Would maybe recommend to play but going for clear is imo not fun.
