10 stages. Beating one stage will unlock the next one. Each stage features one different gimmick, some nicely used, some not. Seizure warning for those who hate invisible blocks, because one of the stages is focused on that, and a few other stages use them as well. Fake blocks don't have a specific stage, but are still used once in a while.
The difficulty curve is a bit meh. You can see the difficulty increasing, but at some saves it decreases a lot all of sudden. And sometimes it just stays the same. The bosses follow Novelty, using the gimmick of the stage, and Best Guy, with trolls at the end of the fight, but they're very inferior to both when it comes to quality. Some of them are still enjoyable, though, like the ones at Stage 7, Stage 8, and the last one. Of course, using something other than giant cherries as bosses would be aprreciated.
The platforming can be hard, sometimes, but most of the difficulty comes from a couple puzzles, and the bosses.
