I started this game not expecting to even beat the first save, but it very quickly managed to suck me in. The first 3 saves are really satisfying to pull off, with tons of setup jumps and frame perfect maneuvers that don't even look possible to the untrained eye.
Save 4 somewhat spoiled my experience, it's obviously harder than the rest but beyond that it has a very different type of difficulty: some of the jumps in it (mostly the double water plane) essentially feel like luck even after multiple hours of grinding.
Overall I enjoyed my experience with the game, but would only recommend it if you're ok with grinding for a long time without feeling like you're making any progress.

I did not go into this with the expectation that I would have a new hardest clear by the end but alright. This is the first game I've played with needle so precise that I've had to be very aware of the number of frames since I let go of the jump button. Super enjoyable game for me, even if the last screen had me stuck for 30 hours.

Very interesting experience. It's a fun but quite simplistic hard needle game, classic in it's kind. The jumps are made in such a way that takes no complex mechanism, but creates complexity just by virtue of it's apparently simple structures. Many jumps look simple, but are in reality deceitful.
A very interesting game for people looking to get better at high end needle, and a good introduction to FTFA-likes in general. That being said, it also just doesn't do anything all that special for me besides make me think of how complex some simple structures can be, I don't think it's the be-all end-all of precise consistency needle.
