As far as needle goes, its very well designed other than a few issues, those being the block animation flashing to quickly making the needle harder than it needs to be, most of the final jumps before the portals are choke jumps making it very annoying having to do the whole screen over again and there are way to many ledge type jumps throughout to the point where it just gets tedious.
