Very similar to the first one in terms of difficulty. Bosses every 25 levels. The difficulty increases more in the later stages than in the first. Levels are increase as well up to floor 105 with an extra as a boss of the 100 floors. Good music even if the music restarts.

Most of the game is boring corridor needle, with a difficulty curve that ramps up around floor 75. I personally wouldn't play this again unless I wanted to do Storm Peak.

I could see an improvement alright, even though it was minimal. It would seem like the original creator envisioned a trilogy through which the beginner player could advance and learn new gimmicks and tricks, and is certainly more recommendable as a beginner fangame even though it is a sequel, although there is a light "progression of events" that will culminate in the last Conquer the Blow Game entry.
I don't recommend this, really. You could play it once just to build up confidence and realize later on that you can't remember almost anything about it, but again, if the only purpose was to prepare new gamers, then it fulfilled that purpose.
