Rating of stages would go: Nyaa > Matsu >>>>>>>>>>>> Nepunowa
Nyaa and Matsu's stages were good, odd shit jump here and there, but nepunowa's stage was a complete trainwreck. Weird jumps in every save; floor gates; some jumps that basically require you to jump cancel; halfway through the stage you get hit with a 32 gate screen like wtf???? and i guess the creator just forgor how to make good needle, said fuck it and destroyed the final screen. One of the most ass jumps I've ever had to play - it's the second big drop in the screen before the final few jumps. Refer to shadowlink57's video on how to do it, but here's a few more pointers: get align 2 (it's the wall opposite of the left to the save), back of left foot off the platform, then 2f bonk and then, when you are basically offscreen frame perfect jump to make the jump. I swear that shit could not have been playtested.
Maybe play the other stages.

Needle game that's split into three stages: Nyaa, Matsu, and Nepunowa
Nyaa stage seemed the easiest of the three. Matsu stage is based on the Uhuhu Spike games. While fun, some of the segments in this stage were a bit annoying. Nepunowa stage can get frustrating if you don't know how to jump cancel (like myself), and at times the background made it difficult to move the kid into a good position in order to execute a precise jump. Also, I liked how the stage highlighted the proper align for some of the more difficult jumps.
Probably the only gripe I have about the game is the use of touch saves.
Overall, it's a pretty solid needle game.
