Perhaps nostalgia is taking the reins when I say this, but I think this game is brilliant. Something about the mood of the game combined with my own personal attachment makes me adore Zeus. I played this way back in 2015 and managed to beat it with over 5000 deaths taking place over the course of 3 hours, and I decided to come back to it today to see how I'd fare now. Clearing it in 20 minutes with 700 deaths felt phenomenal, let me tell you.
For the most part, the jumps really are not all that interesting. There's a few cool bits here and there, but then you get things like a corner into a sphincter and then another corner, and a lot of squished diagonals to boot. There's also some required 1f's, but given that I just found out I can semi-consistently 1f, I didn't really mind them to be honest. These jumps may be a bit trashy, but they're a part of the charm of Zeus. This charm is further honed by the lovely visuals and catchy music, and all that adds up to a highly lovable game that most people understandably would not treat as all that incredible.
Zeus was the first game I ever beat where I felt really proud of myself, and so I can point to that as partial explanation for my unusually high rating; however, I do still think this is a great game regardless of my own bias, so if you're a fangame player in this day and age who has any attachment to needle and somehow hasn't taken Zeus for a spin, I'd recommend tracking it down for a play.

Two screens of pretty tough needle. Found some saves to be really fun (like the 4th save on the first screen) while some others just kicked my ass and felt like a grind (like the penultimate save on the second screen). Couple of required 1f jumps and a downward plane at the end. This was the first downward plane I ever did so I'm happy for that at least.
Probably enjoyed this way more than I should have, but whatever.

Two screens of fairly precise needle. Cute visuals, nice music, annoying death sound. Some creative-ish jumps, some generic ones, some generic jumps slightly modified to become harder. Some saves are fun, some are just a chore.
There's not a lot to say about it. It's playable, although there are many better needle games around. Would only recommend if you don't have anything else to play.
