This game started out okay despite some buggy mechanics and strange platforming.
Upon reaching the DKC area, however, it takes a huge hit in quality. There is still some fun platforming there, but the "precise" hitboxes make some of the wooden boards stick up and the thorns stick out in awful ways. I'm convinced that this game was not properly tested because one jump in particular had stray hitbox pixels that made an already pretty difficult jump even worse (https://i.imgur.com/pXDyJnZ.png). You eventually come to the K. Rool boss that came quite close to making me quit the game because it was long, learny, and terrible in basically every way.
The final boss was great in concept but gets too hard near the end and essentially becomes a luck grind. I would love to see another maker use the idea because it could be really fun in someone else's hands.
Do not recommend.

I don't see a lot of promise in this game. For one thing, it took a long time for the title screen to load up. For another thing, the first room is just a troll room where you have to find the invisible exit.
And then from then on, it just got creepy. The first real room has a bunch of Mary Poppins heads (I think?) They're just staring at you, breaking the fourth wall, and some of them kill you (no surprise.) I managed to get through that screen with relative ease, but then we get to an area that gets even creepier. It's some sort of haunted house.
Call me a pussy, but this was where I stopped, because I'm convinced that there's going to be a jumpscare somewhere in here, and I hate feeling on edge like that.
But from what I did play, I feel like this certainly isn't the worst thing out there. Trim the troll fat, and take out the creepy factor, and I think the game might be decent. Not remarkable, but decent.
