It's a pretty fun adventure that heavily improves upon the original Tenchos Pictures by adding platforming, a storyline (In japanese...*Sigh*) and a bit of production value to the original's core concept of goofy bosses seemingly drawn on Paint. The platforming is short, but really fun, never lacking variety. It features moving obstacles, traps and a few simple gimmicks. The bosses are slightly more elaborate than in the original game, which is a plus, though it took me a while to understand how to hit one of them because of language barrier reasons. Everything plays really smoothly, with no difficulty inconsistencies or big roadblocks. In fact, you can hardly feel the difficulty increasing at all.
Until the last stage hits you like a truck, anyway. The precise movements and timing segments were a lot different of what the rest of the game felt like. It was like being asleep, having a nice dream, and then the game wakes you up with a punch in the face. It's still a fun stage, just way harder than the rest. But then, the triangle boss shows up, and though it's not a very difficult boss once you know how to play against it, it might be a problem to understand how to play against it. Continous aimed attacks and all. Ugh. Same as the last stage, it's a fun boss that feels like it belongs in another game due to its difficulty.
And well, I wish that was all. Up until here, this game was really great, and kept surprising me positively over and over (Though it did have its mediocre parts and shortcomings, like the circus area). But then, the last boss shows up right after the triangle thing, and it's such an abomination I could barely force myself to beat it. It's an avoidance thing with bullet hell visuals that looks nothing like any other boss in the game, so unlike the triangle, which doesn't fit in the game because it's difficult, this thing doesn't fit in the game because of pretty much everything about it. It gives you a HP bar, makes a lot of random attacks that you don't really care for because you have HP and should probably be able to take one or two hits, and then the last attack shows up and you realize you need all the HP you can spare because there's simply no strategy to dodge it properly, yet you still need a strategy to not get hit too much, so that the HP you saved is enough to endure it (Hugging the corner does not work). And when I say "all the HP you can spare", I don't mean half of it, I mean that taking two hits is already too much. To survive one attack. The last. And now you have to learn how to go through the other attacks without taking a single hit (Which is actually decently difficult), just so you can have another go at the last attack. It's absolutely obnoxious, and the fact that it is mandatory to complete the game pretty much ruins the whole thing. Thankfully, it's in the end, so you can always say "Screw that", abandon it once you reach the last boss, and you won't be missing a lot.
Anyway, that's that. It's a pretty good game with an obnoxious last boss. Would recommend, but, well, you know what's waiting for you if you decide to finish it. Also, there's apparently some extra content but I know nothing about it, so...

It's not particularly unique, but each stage has a different style and obstacles. The bosses are meh, and the last attack of the final boss is by far the hardest part of it, making it somewhat frustrating. The random traps scattered around the stages doesn't exactly help the game either. But it's fine, I'd still give it a try.
