Cleared on Easy (~25-55) and Normal (~35-55)
I don't know how and why (unless it's just because of the name itself) this game was added here and only this one because it's the first of a 4 game part series total.
I'll give a detailed review anyway.
First of all, this game plays on its own engine and has very different mechanics and physics than standard fangames.
There's also Vsynch issues with fast monitors, so it has to be played with a 60Hz refresh rate for decent playability or with external tools.
There are 4 difficulties from easy to lunatic.
Each difficulty changes the platforming and level design as well as the enemy layouts.
There's a total of 20(+1) stages in the game with a boss every 5 and a very difficult one at the end, even on easy difficulty.
It plays like an old school Super Mario Bros. platformer where you can get power-ups, even fire flower equivalent, which also serves as HP during the stages.
There's also one save point in each of the platforming ones and boss phase.
Boss stages are all (not side-scrolling) horizontal shooter, you can hold the shoot key to shoot them down and focus also exists.
Each of them has multiple phases, spell cards and potential health refills.
The life counter is genuine, so going down without lives remaining is game over.
Therefore, to be able to avoid mistakes afterwards, one can use the replay system present in the game (or continue if not caring for 1cc).
This feature saves all inputs from each of the played stages (tested and worked without desynch) with a fast-forward key to go back to key points in them if needed.
Because the life counter and because it's also minefilled with traps, forced resets from stage 1 are done very quickly on lunatic and the continue system only unlocks after clearing it.
But maybe there are less stages in that difficulty.
There are also unlockables in the game.
Clearing the main game will grant you access to an Extra (Boss Rush ?) harder than the final bosses.
I believe clearing easy also works for that.
It will also let you unlock multiple playable characters from the touhou series as well as one from the Gundemonium series.
Although one might need to replay the game multiple times to unlock everyone of them and probably need an extra stage clear too.
If someone wants to play a lunatic difficulty equivalent, playing other games of the series would be wiser as they have much fairer savepoints and no life counter, (although not sure about the 4th game since not played).
Games from the series would be the following ones:
- ぬえのビッグバーン大作戦 (Nue's Operation Big Burn) easiest of them all from experience
- でんじゃらす☆すわこちゃん (Dangerous Suwako-chan)
- でんじゃらす☆ぱっちぇさん すわこちゃんといっしょ 洩矢の旅4 (Dangerous☆Patche-san Moriya no Tabi 4)

According to the youtube videos, this game is a mix of Super Mario Bros., Touhou and I Wanna Be The Guy fangames.
Looks a bit interesting, but now, the site related to this game is deleted so I believe no one can download it right now. (The game was released in 2011)
