Hey everyone. The FGM 2016 Needle Maker event levels have been made into a full game!
Version 1.01 was released this morning, adding in a few new features, fixing a small bug, and tweaking a few sections of levels that may have caused more frustration than intended. A lot of work was put in by Patrickgh3 to get the transitions up and running, so I hope you all enjoy the game!
For those who missed the Fangame Marathon 2016 event: Gamemakers were given .jtool maps of three almost-empty rooms, containing a start point, an end portal, and blocks to break up the room. They were given 15 minutes per room to make needle levels, the first with around 40 difficulty, the second 50, third 60. The levels were made by Pieceofcheese87, KatzIWBTG, Patrickgh3, and Taprus_3rd, and you can really see how different their approaches are to each level.

Some really neat production effects mixed with some progressively declining level design. Nonetheless, it was a quick fun needle game and it was interesting to compare the design decisions and how they changed as the creators clearly ran out of time.

Really enjoyed this fangame. 4 Makers collab to make increasingly difficult screens that use the same base block layout. Also the transitions are very cool and well done.

A needle game showing a room configuration with needle added in by 4 different people. It's very interesting to see how the 4 makers fill the space using the same wall layouts. The production in this game is really well done, the room transitional effects are just fantastic. The game isn't very long, but it's definitely fun to mess with.
