The production value on this game is pretty good. The gimmicks are introduced and built upon in a fair way. The stages are also short enough to where they don't get annoying or too boring either. The bosses are nice, although I think the area for the second one is a bit too big, which makes chasing after the boss a bit tedious.

This game is really good. It's a fairly easy short two stage game, but both stages have entertaining and neat gimmicks. The first stage has 3D rotating obstacles, which is really neat and impressive. First area also contains Rom-Room esque background and foreground travelling, which is cool as well. The second one is a more switch/puzzle based one, with a speed gimmick where the setup has to be going a certain speed to activate a gate. I wish the shadow kid gimmick introduced in only the last screen had been expanded on, though. It was neat. The bosses were both okay, but I liked the first boss more then the second boss since it used the Rom-Room gimmick mentioned earlier. I highly recommend you play this game.

Cool short little beginner gimmick adventure. Stands out a bit. Would recommend to kill like 5-10 minutes or however long that took.

Machinary is an incredible adventure game, and deserves a place as one of the go to beginner recommendations. It plays around with some really clever gimmicks, such as 3d moving spikes. My biggest complaint is that the second stage is too short for all the gimmicks introduced to shine! I could also mention that the first boss is a bit too long, but with how easy it is that's really not a big deal.
Overall, a must play adventure game. A great intro point for beginners, and it's short length makes it a quick treat for advanced players.
