Long game. The stages are mostly needle-based with the exception of stage 5; nothing is too hard and the bosses are kind of fun. Some parts are really questionable though ( I disliked stage 4 in particular ), but overall the level design is fine. Would recommend.

Very long adventure (8 stages, but in reality last three stages are bigger than first ones, so yeah), that has some ideas, but definitely feels lacking overall - there's a lot of questionable things. In general tho, i think this game has strong highlights - in first half it was bosses and in second half it was platforming

Platforming in first half was boring needle with some rough moments and awkward visuals, but becomes way more enjoyable from around stage 6, where some interesting gimmicks starting to appear, like i really enjoyed stage rush hub and stage that follows after that, pretty solidly designed platforming. Final stage was very hard "time attack" needle without gimmicks, but it was still kinda cool

Bosses are generally cool. Has charm and uniquiness. I really liked bosses 4 and 5 for example. But starting from stage 6 bosses got replaced on avoidances, and it was not great. Actually, avoidance of stage 6 is one the worst avoidances i've ever beaten - insanely stupidly designed piece of garbage. Stage 7 avoidance is Touhou - it's cute, but pretty generic for that kind of fight. Avoidance of stage 8 was fun barrage, but visual effects are pretty ??? And final boss is obviously The Baguette - it was surprisingly decent in both gameplay and production terms

Overall, it was strange game. As many adventures it suffers from balance problems, wacky production, dumb traps, dull segments. But it was still cool experience and definitely far from bad. Aside of that fucking stage 6 avoidance i pretty much enjoyed my journey. Can recommend for hard adventure fans and old-school connoisseurs

Don't understand how this game has such a high rating. Okay, it is long and has a few okay ideas but sadly it's all just executed poorly. From terrible gimmick implementations to poorly coded bosses or visual challenge platforming or avoidance it has everything. There is maybe 1.5 cool stages in this game, the rest is just a mix of bad needle and badly put in gimmicks. Definitely would need a lot of polish to be fun.

Long needleventure that had some great ideas and some bad screens. First half is mostly needle with Stage 4 having a really dumb f jump in the middle of the stage. Second half had some great gimmicks like block pushing to being shot at. Last stage is my least favorite stage because you have to do some annoying needle screens in a time limit. The bosses were pretty fun and the avoidances were ok. But they can wall you at times. It was sorta mixed in my opinion, but I am glad that it is over.
