This is a 100 Floor Needle game that changes up the visuals and music every 3 floors. While the music is great pretty much through the entire game, the visuals can at times be outright terrible. By the second half of the game the visuals tend to hold up better and the game overall seems to get better. As the maker's first game, it's an ambitious project to make a game like this, and you can see his growth as the game progresses and the platforming gets better for the most part.
The other major issue with this game is the save balancing. The game will flow at a good pace, then you will just hit a wall at certain saves that are way out of whack. Given the size of the game I know it can be hard to balance, but a few of these were just terrible. Hopefully if he makes another game, he will clean up his visuals a lot more and get a better handle on some of the balancing. Overall though if you like needle this is a game you can sink a lot of time into grinding through it.

Pretty good somewhat of CN1 clone, sometimes slightly harsh, but mostly very decent in both of difficulty and design. Holds up pretty well to the very end and Floor 100 was very nice end of the game. The main thing about this game is that it start pretty tough very fast and keep this difficulty (65-75) pretty much for entire game, but this is not a bad thing for me. Also appreciate tilesets in this game, very various and pleasant (they are also seems pretty original, but idk is it true or not)

Well, there are no long comments on this game in the community, but collectively they say exactly what I felt when passing.100 floors, which are not a single game, a product, but simply a reset of sketches and different stages with different complexity, different values.There are cheap screens, they are very good,all the time I am haunted by a feeling of tightness, the uselessness of a lot, 96-99 is one of the cheapest and easiest stages, I was at a loss why and why it costs at the end.in the middle of the game and towards the end there is something to cling to and something to play in general, but whether the time spent is worth it, I'm not sure, I hardly recommend it

Clarence is a pretty challenging 100f game.
The difficulty is all over the place and i'd say the middle of the game might just be harder than the 70's and 80's. Luckily there's no true bruh moments jump wise for the most part, although theres one jump later on that gets close. I appreciate the variety that is in this game, most stages feel surprisingly distinct.
Visually this game doesn't look that great, but for the most part it works. One tileset hurts to look at though. The music is pretty okay.
Overall a pretty allright fangame that needle playes looking to get better might enjoy.
