Love the interlude stages between screens. Needle has a certain vibe to it found nowhere else but here. Extra beat my ass and I didn't end up clearing it. Rating based on base game plus extra.

The difficulty of most of the screens was too concentrated in a couple jumps for my liking. The one screen of frequent-save needle wasn't great, either.

very fun game consisting of mostly single-save 32px screens. it had like 1 save i didn't enjoy that much but even then it wasn't that bad. the water usage later in the game doesn't feel awkward at all compared to the gimmickless needle before it.
