I honestly think of all the fangames I've played that this has some of the best music, the picks you made for it are simply perfect.
For the needle itself, I liked the majority of the screens. This ended up being harder than I thought it would be, but I enjoyed the bit of grinding that was necessary. The last main screen was kind of a push, but besides that everything felt pretty fair and good.

The water is used in creative ways, but some of the uses were really awkward to pull off imo.
Notably, when you have to drop into 32x64 water, where the top 32x32 portion is taken up by a down spike, and swim under the down spike.
Though, aside from that, I don't really dislike anything else. Amazing game!
