This game is intended for beginners. It starts off pretty easy and then reaches a level that should be comfortably difficult around the second half of the game with a TON of skips included for more advanced players if they want to go FAST. The story is set in the same universe as More Dangerous Toys.

Good gimmick needle, it consists of multiple stages with each one having its own gimmick then a boss that mix all the gimmicks from the previous stages, then repeat. Gameplay is closer to wookie older game Dance with daggers than the dangerous toys series. Wasn't a fan of every gimmick but it was still a good experience, however the bosses despite being a good idea in theory, kinda sucks and aren't very interesting. There is also some kind of story and it's supposed to takes place in the same universe as more dangerous toys, but for now it mostly set up the world so I will wait for it to expend. Good game overall (and funny easter eggs btw).

This is a really fun game, it is very doable but doesnt feel to easy. The gimmicks are unique and creative. And the two bosses combined with gimmicks feels creative. Although the second boss felt a lot harder than the rest. It was a good end to Jason's Journey.

The desert area is probably one of my favorite areas I've ever played, and ironically enough, the rocket kid was one of my least favorite additions. The only major gripe besides the rocket kid was the fact that a good half of the gimmicks are purely cycles. The bosses and rest of the areas were super fun! Would recommend.

I really like to think of this as two separate games, because the level of quality for the first half is extremely superior to the latter one. There are plenty of neat gimmicks throughout the game, and then there are just some that are either boring or annoying. Particularly in the second half, you have round jump-refreshing water, which is the least special gimmick, a spike gimmick that's basically the same thing as the spiders for half the stage, and an absolutely terrible momentum gimmick that ruined the game for me.

The first boss is really solid, combines the first 5 gimmicks in a good way. Sadly the second boss is a complete turn-around and has a big focus on those terrible momentum arrows I'd rather just not exist. It's really just a shame because I do like the idea of combining gimmicks, but one bad apple spoils the lot. And on a side note, the blocks need to move more than 16 pixels in that fight because it's an annoying mash fest trying to shoot them otherwise.

Would recommend it still, but definitely NOT to beginners.

A medium length adventure game with a nice array of gimmicks dispersed between bosses. All of the gimmicks were pretty good and never got too hard. There was only one which felt pretty meh. None of the bosses were too hard and felt a bit generic. The story gave me a few laughs and the dialogue boxes were one of my favorite parts of this game. I feel like if this game had been fleshed out more, it could have been one of the greats, however it never quite feels like it has reached the peak of what it was going for. Worth playing, but probably won't be a "stand out" game for you.
