Update: As I understand the game is quite long and not everyone is interested in all of it, there is now a post-game clear save available here which you can place in your AppData\Local\IWBTOP\Data path (similar to any studio game) to use and access whichever areas do interest you.
This is a very lengthy adventure game, intended to provide the player with a wide array of nearly everything that fangames offer including a large variety of platform and boss gimmicks, tied together with a cheesy story of reversed roles where you play as your favorite secondary fangame character (or the kid, for familiarity) seeking solace under the sea.
Requires mouse use for certain situations though none that are time restrictive, and has a couple of optional online features including leaderboards and version checking (available from 1.02 onward).
Current version is 1.21
A new character model is available in 1.21
Those on version 1.1 should update asap as it unfortunately introduced a crash risk.

Incredible. Must play game. Tons of stages with new gimmicks the whole way through. It never feels stale or unfair. Absolute banger.

Incredible level design, production values, and basically everything. There's a ton of content and it's all as inventive as it is fun to play. The creativity on display is stunning, and even when I feel the gameplay stumbles on the fun factor (Acid Bog), the gimmicks are still interesting enough to keep me entertained. Overall, easily one of the best fangames ever made. Personally I wasn't too fond of some of the bosses (Ice Guardian) and tend to dislike avoidances in general, but I won't dock points for that because the bosses themselves (except Ice Guardian?) are fine, they just aren't the kind of thing I personally enjoy playing. I recommend this game to basically everyone, as long as you can handle the pretty hard (but not too hard) needle.

All things considered, this is probably the best take on the adventure game formula I've come across. I find that adventure games tend to stumble further in, with exceedingly terrible gimmick platforming or a truly bad boss sapping my interest in continuing, but I was compelled to see Ocean Princess through to the end despite its prodigious length, so I think that counts for something. Some of the bosses are quite bad, and there are some horribly designed saves here and there, but there's nothing that made me feel like dropping the game, which is an accomplishment given just how much content kurath packed into this thing.
If you want a relatively difficult fangame that isn't just needle or just avoidance or just traps, and so forth, you can't really go wrong with this.
