Its a solidly made math quiz game at probably the correct difficulty level (up to calculus) for someone considering becoming a math major with some fangame humor spread throughout.

Kid's a bum though if he can't get a job with a math degree, its not like its philosophy or literature or something.

As a person who actually has a math degree, I quite appreciated this game. It serves as a good test of high school level math knowledge, including calculus. The questions actually manage to have a good amount of variety, and there were only a few times where it felt like I was doing the same thing twice. This is an impressive accomplishment given that the game has 50 floors. The game really runs through the gamut of math skills, requiring many skills past surface level knowledge (I had to use a couple hints because of formulas I'd forgotten). The final 5 questions actually get to some relatively tricky calculus, I ended up having to break out some paper when I'd done everything prior in my head. They're very satisfying questions, that really push your basic skills. Overall, there were a few questions that were worded poorly imo, and sometimes the answer format wasn't clear, but for the most part the game was well put together. The questions were made to be interesting and different, leading this to be a really fun challenge for those of us who enjoy math.

I Wanna be the Math Major 2 is a great showcase of basic applied math at a high school level. I would have liked to see the inclusion of non-polynomial functions and geometry to help round out the applications.

The format of the required answers was often quite intuitive, which was a relief. However, with five questions to complete each save, it was sometimes a slog to have to wait for the "correct" to pop up as many as four times to attempt the next question. I would have appreciated a save every screen, even though this would make some problems susceptible to "trial and error" solutions.

It also would have been nice to not have to use an additional hint to view the same hint for a question a second time. I get that I could have screenshotted the hint, but I shouldn't have to do that to return to the hint which I've already invested in.

With the release of version 1.01, the only question I wasn't a fan of was question 50, because of its reliance on question 45, which was only available on the previous save. The other questions were great, as was their applications to the fangame context. I especially liked questions 43 and 47.

Easier than Math Major 1. I hated Question 50 because I had to watch a speedrun of I wanna KTG to figure out the answer.

It's... fine, for what it is, though it's not really the sort of thing to put in a fangame. However, the last question ruins it by expecting you to look up a bunch of random info from other fangames as well as the answer to a question you can't go back to at that point without replaying the entire game. Overall, I'd suggest to skip it. (No difficulty rating as it doesn't play like your standard fangame)
