Climb the witch's tower is one of my favorite games, so my expectations were high going in.
The game features three stages with increasingly good music. The needle mostly used longer chained together manoeuvres and they were very satisfying. It does a great job feeling wolfie like, which is good. I kinda wish the game was a bit longer though.
So yeah my expectations were met.

Solid medium length (3-stage) needle game in the style of Wolfiexe. Heavy focus on mid-length (1/2 screen) saves and the high airtime gimmick trifecta of platforms, water and vines.
Clean visuals with umineko music because that's what wolfie would do. Needle is consistently fun and well worth playing if you like that style of needle, even if it doesn't really break any new ground.
