Fun adventure game, there's HP system so it's not very hard.

Rating based on Easy Mode, Normal is much harder and quite less fun as well.
An interesting adventure game on the easier side that establishes the player with a health bar which can be increased with collectibles throughout the main stages. The hub consists of four areas with a boss and powerup within each. These powerups will help you collect additional health upgrades throughout the hub areas. The boss of each area is simple enough, be sure to use the in-game autofire which is used by pressing Shift+Z. After beating all four areas, you can fight a boss, which upon completing it starts the second half of the game.
In the second half, you replay the four different hub worlds, which have now been buffed. However, you maintain the powerups from your original playthrough of them, so you can easily complete each area and obtain the hearts once again (those you already got can now be collected again). The bosses of the four areas are also buffed somewhat as well. Upon beating the four areas again, you will unlock access to the final area of the game.
The final area has a higher difficulty and requires you to use every powerup's mechanic in order to complete it. I found this stage rather annoying in some parts, requiring very specific usage of sprinting or lucky shots with bullets. In the end, you will be met with the final boss of the game, a buffed version of the mid-way boss that has double the health. I'd recommend you have all the health upgrades in the game if you want this fight to be easier.

Well done with this game Alt07. The overall game play was enjoyable. Kid has HP which increases through finding health and beating bosses. You get powerups such as a fireshot and the ability to freeze among other abilities you pick up through the game. There are a total of 6 bosses which some have weaknesses and others don't There weren't too many traps. Once you beat the game you keep everything you obtain and play through on a harder setting. Only downer is that the player should have to obtain the powerups again otherwise they can skip the harder areas. Once you beat the game there is an extra which is tougher and more challenging then the previous stages. I recommend.
