Huge surprise of a game for me, definite "hidden gem" status. This game takes place over a handful of stages, with a classic trapventure style. As expected, there are some annoying flying spike traps, but the game understands moderation so it's never a buzzkill. The gimmick usage is quite creative, with simple gimmicks like triggers and switching blocks being used to their utmost in a variety of ways. The bosses are cool, and utilize checkpoints such that they aren't a grind, even though they're long. The desert boss really shines, where you have to go around hitting triggers to drop rocks on it while dodging its attacks. The dice boss was also really cool, and I found it incredibly creative how it rolls down, decreasing the number of platforms and bullets per attack.

The real star of the show is the lengthy final area, "The Astral Kaleidoscope". This area has a unique theme for each room, from escort missions to reverse spotlight segments to a mouse controlled maze. Each room here was a treat, with a ton of creativity on display to create fun and interesting gimmicks. The final boss is extremely long, but with such frequent checkpoints it's no grind. Each phase takes place in a new arena, some using the gimmicks from earlier in the game. Most of the arenas are more complex than simple stand and shoot platforms, so each segment feels almost like a new boss. It's a great climax to the game, acting as a microcosm of the variety and creativity of everything else.

Overall, this game is absolutely worth a play. It deserves to be much more well known, and is one of the best games I've played that follows the basic trapventure formula.

Arrive the Ambitious is another amazing Adventure game on the easy side by ひやむぎおるず that incorporates various mechanics and styles into one well-rounded package. There is so much unique variation that I truly feel as if this should be considered one of the staple Beginner games. The stages contain some wonderful platforming that manages to never go overboard, the bosses are both climatic whilst also having checkpoints for longer phases, and every other instance of the game makes it feel as if it was designed for newer players.

As a major fan of the creator's other work, I wanna defeat the Villians, this is a perfect accompaniment to it. It adds a little bit more difficulty and a lot more spice, so you'll definitely want to play this one second. I had a real blast this one, and I hope other people stumble across it and get to experience the same journey. What a great game!

A simple and cozy game. The early parts of the game features simple gimmicks and a lot of traps, the later part of the game is very honest with simple and fun gimmicks. The platforming layouts are well designed and the bosses are fair with checkpoints scattered throughout. The puzzle sections are essentially luck-based for me since they are not in English but that isn't a problem that's the creator's fault.
This is an overall solid game, nothing insane about it. Simple and really well-made.

Also I don't know how they made a battle against a crudely drawn picture of The Kid so climactic

It's pretty good! This game has some neat gimmicks and funny traps, along with decent bosses, all the fundamental qualities of a good adventure game. I don't have many complaints besides some of the puzzles being impossible for an English only speaker (not the maker's fault) and some areas went on longer than I would have liked, but for the most part it's just a solid cute game.
