I rate my games appropriately (formerly rated 0/10)
EDIT: reuploaded the game and also made a minor update

4 screen and fairly easy FTFA-like I made after some discussion about what an easy FTFA-like would be. Comes with a practice mode in case you don’t feel like pulling out jtool for some jumps or if you just want an extra easy mode to play through if it’s still too hard

I have to disagree with the creator, they didn't rate this appropriately.
Of the needle, it's what you could expect from something made to be an easy FTFA-like. One save rooms with loots of different jumps that trigger muscle memory pretty quickly to where you can eventually get through the whole thing. Practice mode was a good addition, especially to practice the end of screen 4.
With the needle aside, time to talk about what I actually enjoy the most from this game: its atmosphere. This game accomplishes what many fangames have attempted to do in such a simple way, create an atmosphere of unease and disturbance for the player. I'm not the best at needle, so it took me a while to get through the game, meaning I got to really think for a while on why I enjoyed it so much. I appreciated the usage of green throughout the game, I've never really considered how it could be seen as an ominous color but this proves that it can be. The music is also something I got to listen to for over a hour, and it really starts to tear at the mind listening to it for so long, which in my opinion is a good thing for what the mood seems to be.
The Kid is pretty interesting, he has no face. I wondered why the kid might have no face for a while, though I can probably never guess what the creator intended by it, rather for a visual purpose purely or for some deeper metaphor. But to me, especially when comparing it to the title of the game, I've come to create my own interpretation is that its purely to make the player ask what happened, to acknowledge there is an issue. And just like a storm, its probably not an issue the Kid could magically control or remove, he's lost to the weather and now he just wants to fly away. Or maybe I'm just projecting real life, it surely is a storm.

I now have a better idea of why people enjoy FTFA-likes. Still not my cup of tea, but I'm glad I cleared this (also hardest needle clear so far). Practice mode is greatly appreciated, honestly a lot more games would benefit from having one! Being able to test good aligns and setups in it probably shaved half my time, especially on the last screen. The atmosphere and song are pretty cool as well. I do wanna point out the tileset makes it a bit hard to judge the Kid's position - the feet blend with the floor, which for example makes the F jump in screen 4 harder than you'd expect.
