It appears to be an ARG, but it only goes two layers deep from as far as I can tell. If you wait long enough on the iceberg you are sent to a room with an invisible maze and a sign, and the sign tells you to inspect the difficulty select. Nothing else beyond that, though, as far as I and many others can tell.
EDIT: Nevermind it went a bit deeper than that.
