A trapventure game in the expected style of Marimario/Lily, but more expansive than the expected due to the combined effort.

Makes a huge first impression, the production is phenomenal and stays that way the whole way through.

Likewise, the bosses are amazing - very fair, great production with very stylish attacks and a good variety of attacks and styles (and, to sell it to me immediately, the first boss uses unconventional arena layout/mechanics).

Unfortunately, the platforming is where it lost me. Individually really, every save is great. The problem is for me after a while, they were all the exact same. And they weren't really traps - there were no mindgames, suspense, fakeouts or tricks. Every save was basically a pattern avoidance - here's a bunch of wacky shit thrown at you in a sequence where there's only one process each step of the way, then a couple needle jumps, rinse, repeat. Again, there's tons of super creative stuff and the unexpected characters and shenaniganry are great... its just a chore (if you don't like just learning a pattern and executing it over and over into a guaranteed death.)

Overall, still a great game, but not really what you expect and becomes very tiring to play (and, as a personal point, not what I would want from an adventure game - there was no variety, heck an entire stage was built around a gimmick that served no purpose because the only obstacles were the trap sequences again). It was still probably worth it to get to play the bosses, but it wasn't as much as I'd hoped. I would still absolutely recommend this game, especially if you enjoy pattern gameplay or really like cool bosses, but if you're looking for a zany trap game or a variety filled adventure, this really isn't either of those.

My favorite adventure game, with some of the best traps I have ever played through. It's always a pleasure when trap makers not only go for comedy, but also for fun platforming. Truly shows the mastery that Lily and Marimario have for games like these.

Bosses in general are pretty awesome as well, visual-wise and attack-wise, but the final boss goes way too hard with how much of a fun and intense experience it is.

The entire game is visually and technically impressive, it really is in a different tier for a adventure/trap game.

Must play.

This is the best game I've ever played.
The traps in the first half of the game are conventional, but the traps in the second half are very imaginative and creative. It's pretty awesome, they combine animation characters and real people, and rank the top in the trap games I have played.
Bosses are also great. I think those special effects can be at the top of I wanna. Finally, the boss's skills and background music reminded me of when I first entered IW seven years ago. And I felt really great.TAT
I recommend it!

I pretty much agree with Kurath, this game really doesn't feel like it deserves the moniker "trap game". It feels more like playing something like Noesis, where stuff moves around to enforce different movements. The game never tries to be funny, and every trap is very basic moving spikes or blocks. Every stage really feels the same, and the traps all blend together as they're all very similar. Even from a gameplay perspective, it really falls flat, as the traps are to samey for me to enjoy dodging them.

The final stage actually tries to be a trap stage, but none of the jokes were particularly funny, and the saves are obnoxiously long. Every save involved learning like 10 traps, and just dying over and over, everything I hate about this type of trap game.

The final boss is the only part I'd give a solid recommendation, as it's really cool. However, I do think it would benefit from each attack being a bit shorter, because the early attacks become quite a slog, and it gets really frustrating to die to something learny after minutes of playing.
