Difficulty based in relax, challenge is around 70-75
Well, maybe when you complete the game probably you can't see as exists an extra entrance at the end, you need pass normal game in challenge mode to enter, and for that is the update, don't necesary complete in challenge, but at least you know exists an extra content

A fun needle game for intermediate players. The game has some interesting usage of varied spike shapes, using them in conjunction with basic gimmicks to create some atypical jumps. I appreciate this a lot, however I feel like the game didn't play to these strengths enough. The game is weakened by some overly precise standard jumps, and a heavy overreliance on platform bonk spam. If the game stuck to the more creative parts, it would feel a bit better.
The long saves at the end were interesting, although a tad unbalanced, and a pretty decent leap up in difficulty from the rest of the game. Additionally, while the game changes the song, it never changes the tileset, and the having the same visuals for the entire game makes it a bit less memorable and a bit boring.
One other thing I noted, the game doesn't save multijump powerups, but the first screen they're used is designed in a way where you return to a save with triple jump. This is a pretty common way to design a screen, and typically you're meant to take the save again but with your new power. In this game, that just results in you losing a couple saves of progress. The game features signs in several places tutorializing gimmicks, it really could've used one here.
Overall, a decent recommendation for some fun needle with good use of basic gimmicks. However, the game has some flaws that prevent me from giving a stronger recommendation.

Rating based on challenge mode but only for needle part.
Everything before extra is pretty good and will be 7.5 or even higher for me. However the needles in extra become very awkward and not creative at all. The stage just before the avoidance is decent though. Only recommend the part before extra.

Pretty good needle, makes good use of it's mechanics and I like the different jump amount gimmicks. The ending section with few saves is cool too.
I played through challenge mode but didn't finish it because I got softlocked in a practice warp by saving the frame I touched it by accident, I personally wouldn't really recommend it, the needle tends to be kinda awkward, still good but not as fun as the main game, and the avoidance at the end is questionable at best. It's a pattern avoidance with in my opinion, really bad pacing which makes it not very fun to do attempts of. If I finished challenge mode my difficulty rating would probably be somewhere in the mid to high 60s.
