Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist can come from anywhere.

As soon as the opening screen showed, I could tell this game was going to be something special. I really appreciate the heart that went into making this. Games like this are the reason why I started playing fangames and what keeps me coming back. Loved all the references, the artwork, and the accessible difficulty. It's the morning after playing it and I still remember it, which is an endorsement of it's quality. It's always cool when a new maker comes out of nowhere and drops something like this, really appreciate it and hope more makers understand that making a game super difficult doesn't necessarily make it more fun or memorable.

Beautiful game. Truly magnificent. I wasn't sure what to think at first with the weird character movement and perma-fullscreen, but after the first level I was completely hooked. Not only is the humor spot-on, but the level design and balance are both smooth and satisfying.

It's not an IWBTG fangame, strictly speaking, but it plays pretty close to one. The biggest difference is that the character in this game has no variable jump height and falls faster. Thankfully, the design is good enough that this never feels uncomfortable to play with. There are some traps, but they are intelligently placed and not very frustrating, and are also pretty funny most of the time. Each room has a different idea going for it which reminds me of the design style of some of my favorite classic adventure games (kill the guy, idwba, boshy, etc).

There are bosses, too, and they're all really fun. The final boss sequence in particular was a treat to play. Nothing ever felt unfair or out of balance and the attacks were all pretty creative and not just projectiles flying at you. There's some really good custom art as well that I appreciated.

To sum up: I really like this game. It was funny, entertaining, and unique. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I went in expecting it to be good from what I've heard about it, but it ended up being better than I expected. It manages to be both funny and serious at the same time, without failing at either. This would normally only be enough for me to give a 5/10, but chungo kong reminds me somewhat of big chungus, which immediately brings it up to a 10/10

Weird, zany fangame-adjacent trap/adventure style game that definitely has the boshy feel but much shorter and easier.

Weird engine and the general controls don't do it any favors really, but the design handles it very well for the most part.

The production is great, giving a nice mix of quality touches mixed with a core retro feel. Sound design (though a lot of it similar to boshy is loud, sharp sounds that don't appeal to me) is well thought out and consistent. Music is quick and varied and fitting.

The platforming is heavily varied, with new crazy concepts coming constantly and amusing enough traps throughout. Even if some screens aren't that interesting at times, there's always atleast something to hold your attention.

The bosses break it up nicely, and are very accessible and still fun despite the limitations imposed by the controls, and that's a sign of well applied design.

Overall, its fun. Its not without its short comings but if you enjoy adventure style games, this is a very amusing game with a lot of personality, and is very accessible across all skill levels (since fangame skill won't really do you that much good anyway).
