This is a short adventure game we made for the second I Wanna Game Jam, which was themed around Time Travel.
I drew all of the objects minus the final boss, and voiced everything besides The Kid. That was renex.
renex was responsible for all of the backgrounds, too.
Admittedly, we didn't follow the theme super well.
We hope you enjoy!

Pretty fun adventure game that uses custom graphics to the extreme, I found it rather enjoyable for the most part.
The game gives you three main branches to take, with two of them having their own boss at the end as well. The platforming in them is pretty interesting and usually revolves around some new obstacle, such as power boxes that can electrocute you, spiderwebs that work like catharsis water, or cars that can grand theft auto you. I thought it was decent at times, though I wasn't a fan of the block needle feeling save in the attic nor the return trip from the shop. The bosses are mostly decent, but I found myself actively disliking the final boss since it felt like your damage opportunities are random and it was rather long for having a lack of attack variety, and I sure don't like dying to a dying attack after a boss's health bar is completely depleted. Lastly, although the ghost kid thing was part of the game's story, it sure made for a tedious visual challenge in the actual gameplay, so I wasn't much of a fan of it.
Overall though, it's a pretty solid game, just has a few rough edges. Of course this game was made in like a week for the Game Jam so it's to be expected, for what it is this game is still definitely a recommendation from me.
