Great first fangame from a legend of the I wanna Maker community.
Has a very accessible difficulty and takes a great little idea and runs with it. Visuals and audio are clean and straightforward.
The gimmick is fun to play, and the game definitely expands on some of the many ideas that can be used with it. There's a handful of levels that feel a bit redundant, and in a short game this does make it even shorter, but it is definitely an enjoyable game. Definitely shows the potential for spreading the great ideas from the IWM community to the fangame community, and maybe continuing to go the route of bigger and better that traditional fangames allow.

Crusher's Curse is an incredible beginner friendly puzzle game, something that's a bit of a rarity in this community. The central gimmick involves powerups that change your movement keys between their normal function, and a dash (similar to the eponymous Crusher from IWM). The puzzles mainly consist of collecting these pickups in the right order, and figuring out the right place and time to use them to navigate the screens. There is a steady influx of new mechanics over time, although they are all just minor variations on the base powerup, and so the puzzles never become overly complex. The puzzles are all really interesting, enough that I wish the game had a higher difficulty continuation. I feel that the easiness of the game prohibits it from exploring the design space fully, and there are more things that could be done. This isn't points away from the game, there's nothing wrong with sticking to a beginner level, just something I'd love for a sequel. My one minor gripe is that a few puzzles feel more like dexterity challenges than intellectual ones. I think a lot of puzzle-platformers fall into this trap of making levels more platformer than puzzle, and it's always a bit annoying. This game by and large does a good job of avoiding this pitfall, but it does stumble into it on a few screens.
Overall, a really solid puzzle game and an easy recommendation for anyone with a half hour to kill.

Cute little game that I unfortunately found a bit repetitive after a couple of levels, plus the lack of different visuals doesn't help either. However, these visuals are clean and are the kind I like. I feel that the idea of this game would fit rather better as a stage within a bigger game, and reducing the length of it by about half.
Despite all this, I encourage the maker to continue creating fangames because you can tell they know how to make good level design, so I'll be looking forward to their future creations

It's so cool to see some of my favorite makers in IWM try their hand at making a whole fangame and releasing bangers on delfruit
Clean visuals and great design overall, maybe a few of the earlier levels feel a bit bland but it's definitely a game I'd recommend to a beginner; worthy of the beginner page, even

Fun movement-restricting puzzle, having a bit more of tileset variety wouldn't've hurt.

Super fun little puzzle game, it's not too tough so even if puzzles aren't your strong suit, you likely won't get too stuck anywhere in this game. It's really fun to play with the simple mechanics, and the visuals and music are really good as well, making for a very strong experience. It's quite short but it's super cute and definitely worth a playthrough. It may be a little repetitive for some, as there's not too many unique gimmicks, but the game is short enough that I don't mind at all!

Very interesting puzzle game that makes you think about when and how to use your jump, double-jump, and even your left and right keys. Needle is mild; the puzzle aspect definitely dominates.

Crusher's Curse is a stellar game with a focus on puzzle gimmick movement and a very strong contender for maker debut of the year. The levels are elegantly designed, the concept is incredibly unique, and the aesthetics are well done.
The main concept of the game is that there are items you pick up that change what your left arrow and right arrow keys do, as well as what happens when you single or double jump. In exchange for their normal function, you instead will turn into a block that shoots in a specific direction indicated on the powerup. While in block form you are immune to spikes, thus creating some of the main puzzle aspects of the game. It's a pretty simple concept, but over the 40 levels present LightPotato does an excellent job at showing how far it can go.
Overall, this was definitely a great experience that's unlike any I've played. I really hope to see further inventive games from this maker in the future, and highly recommend this game if you want something interesting to play.

Perfect game that manage to both be accessible and push its gimmick quite far, while being really enjoyable and having pleasant visuals. I wish there were more games like this one at that diff range.
