The game has been update to the latest build of my engine.
It means:
-You now have native online mode support with F10 key (thanks KingSlendy!)
*Online mode settings are available in options (name change, race mode, player opacity, etc).
-You can now access options while in the Pause menu.
-You now have extra rebindable jump keys for advanced stages.
-And some other stuff!
Also fixed weird jumping sound delay from the previous version and set all songs to the best possible quality (might cause long loading times).
Old description under the spoiler.
This game was made in 3 days. In 2, if we ignore balancing/gameplay adjustments.
I looked back at some older collabs like "I wanna Destroy the 12", "I wanna Break through Seven Trials" and "I wanna Defeat the Seven Colors" and decided to try my luck making something in line with those. To my surprise everyone I invited instantly joined, when I told they shouldn't really tryhard too much, so here is a lifehack strategy for a collab.
I think it came out alright. VK Makers had that annoyance to me where many stages were very bland, almost made in the same boring style. This time I think stages are quite various. You will probably have fun playing if you don't do the completionist route.
Full clear, however, will require some advanced needle techniques. Many new-gen players love this kind of stuff though.
Game has a simple built-in skin system made with "I wanna Play Online" in mind which can be accessed through pause menu. Just don't forget to save in game after you change your character. Crimson Leek can be disabled with F11 key.
Through the same pause menu you can also find what song was used in the area. If you press Space, it will open up a link with it in web browser.
My stage introduces ladders from my custom YoYoYo Engine fork I'm working on, made with more vanilla-like movement approach in mind.
I thought controls would be intuitive, but due to fangame mechanics nature, I often see people being confused in how they work, treating them as vines. Just press Up and Down key without holding Left or Right. Not holding Left-Right was made to prevent some possible "advanced technique" exploits when my engine fork eventually gets released. Maybe I will have to rethink how to avoid this confusion in the future.
In case you will need align/valign guidance, use F3 key.
Pressing Tab while it is enabled, will change info display corner from left to right.
Holding F3 for a few seconds gives access to 8 digit valign value.
