If you're a fangame beginner that's already cleared a few beginner needles and is looking to "level up", particularly with vines, platforms and other JTool gimmicks, IWHYH was made for you! I hope you'll find it challenging, but also fun and fair.
I Wanna Hold Your Hand is a needle/gimmick game (needleventure? no one agrees on what a needleventure is anyway), with multiple main stages, each divided in two halves: a "lesson" half and a "trial" half. Completing all main stages unlocks the final stage. You can expect a wide variety of needle, cycles, gimmicks, vines, and delicious fruit. The difficulty peaks at around 56, but most of it is below that mark.

I liked this game a lot! I am a bit biased because I did help test this game, but I don't think that really changes my opinion.
I am not a big fan of needle in general, but the needle in this is really well designed so I was still able to enjoy it. Definitely a must play if you are into needle games.

Its very good actually, nothing stood out as bad (highlight being poolrooms stage and space) and i only had problems with one save. Very fun, title does not lie your hand will be held (good thing)

amazing game, simple gimmicks very well used, difficult curve at least for me was very good, i don't get stuck in screen for so long compare to others, music was good, visually is okayish but i don't like renex engine a lot, overall such a good game. highly recommend for everyone, mostly novice players (i still need to learn a lot of things about this games, but i can defend myself)

My eyes feel uncomfortable with the colors of the vine&apple stage.
Besides, the intro parts of each stage seem unnecessary.

Very strong needle game, inspired as said by maker by NANG, Neon 3 and Qoqoqo. There's definitely bits from all those three games: main concept really close to NANG as well as iconic tips from maker (even tho here they are implemented not as part of plot, but as literally helping hand), which makes this game potentially pleasant to novicers (even tho difficulty is probably quite too high sometimes, especially closer to end)
As such as NANG influence, some of the usage of gimmicks definitely remind me of Neon 3 and some pathing of Qoqoqo. It's really tasty package overall and some of the best needle games i've played. Especially i got impressed by gravity/refresher stage, which was quite fantastic and mind-blowing sometimes; final stage is also pretty up there. Heavily recommended to any needle fans
P.S: No additional cutscene for getting out of loser pit by doing 4.5 was a bit sad...
