The pathing in this game is very impressive, that's a given, however I have a gripe with this kind of pathing needle that I've felt for a while and only worsens as I play more games like this. While the game has neat concepts and gimmicks and I enjoyed my time with it overall, there were very few jumps I actually thought were noteworthy, and for me personally the most important part of needle is what jumps I'm doing, what motions I'm doing, and just generally how it feels, something this game did not deliver on for me personally. There is a large amount of people who really dig this stuff and that's awesome, and this game specifically has some cool uses of gimmicks, but overall it ended up not leaving much of an impression. Still there's a lot to like here, it's worth a try at least.

Technically impressive and consistently well pathed. Suffers a lot from frequent screen transition jumps and drops; every maze with a scrolling grid was perfectly fine to play, but the static screen mazes were generally much clunkier and frustrating. In general, the game tends to focus much more on the pathing than how the needle actually feels to play, so about half the game I just didn't enjoy very much. However, what it does well it does excellently -- screenwrap, singe/triple jump, four directional gravity, and poison water were very nice, and are very much worth playing for.
