I really enjoyed this game from start to finish. While it does not have the immense wackiness that New Year 2025 had--as well as not having as many secrets--all of the platforming just flows very well and feels extremely polished, alongside having Roubaozi's signature brainblast pathing. He always makes super impressive platforming, and this is absolutely no exception (plus it has some good humor and fun traps scattered throughout to a degree that is unlikely to upset anyone). Still would've liked to see some more wackiness, so hopefully we will get more of that in New Year 2027! I also wanted to specifically mention that floor 100 is fantastic and a ton of fun to play through, combined with emaculate vibes and atmopshere.
If you want a needle game that plays smoothly while also giving you more than just standard, mindless needle, this is a strong recommendation.

The pathing in this game is pretty insane which is very cool and most of the saves feel very engaging to figure out.
I didn't like the colour bubble gimmick but it did also make for a lot of cool pathing.
Now I despise long saves and I am very glad I played a version where you could skip most of it, so I didn't have to learn that one - it seems like a good finale but also way too long and tedious and I got annoyed playing it for around 20 minutes. I can't really judge it much past that but at least the first 99 floors were mostly enjoyable.

Personally, I’d rate this game’s difficulty at around 70. The needles themselves aren’t particularly hard; most of the challenge lies in figuring out the routes.
That said, it’s still a great game that I think everyone should play. The process of searching for the right path is very engaging, and the level design is consistently strong, coming together to create a distinctive charm.
