The author has a deep understanding of fixed 16px patterns.
The game's quality isn't problematic,but
The ridiculously fast bullet speed and absurdly narrow gaps in fixed patterns make it hard to like, while the unsolvable rate in random patterns remains fairly high.
but for me, it isn't particularly unenjoyable either.

To use the shoot gimmicks you have to press up or down once you get one item. Another item later on lets you warp to any stage by pressing W, which is required to access one stage.
There are also four secret skins to be found throughout the game, but none of it is required as the game simply ends with some demo blocks blocking your access.
The maker also forgot to disable god mode which can only be toggled on by pressing D.

Pretty good needle fangame. A bit unbalanced in difficulty but overall my experience with Crimson Needle was pretty chill! Looking forward to CN2
