Figuring this game out by myself was interesting. Games like this are almost like a real-time puzzle, figure out the weird combination of inputs necessary to do the jump.
I'm surprised I enjoyed the 30 minutes I spent in this game, both in jtool and in the actual game, as I've never been a fan of precision needle, one-jump games, or even frame perfect stuff in general.
Maybe it was the game itself that was fun to me, or maybe it was things outside the game that made me appreciate it more. I don't know. But this was enjoyable for me.

Short but cute game. Made somewhere around the end of November, 2012, this game was released on author's Niconico community, but was deleted later on.
As author says in Readme, this game was made to kill some time, hence such title. Author knew that title did not make sense in English, but they still thought that it was charming enough to stay in.
It was made as 4 needle screens followed by an avoidance. Author says that there were ideas of making series of games like this. Not sure if any other game had such exact formula. Maybe?
Anyway, I cleared this game originally in 2022, and re-cleared it today. It is not very hard, and I found it easier than back then, honestly. While needle has 4 screens, in reality there are more like 2 actual needle screens - first one and last one. 2nd features bunch of auto-corners and 3rd one features series of moving spikes where you can just hold right key. That was pretty funny, I must admit. The first screen is probably the hardest, but even then, the hardest part is the drop gate, realistically. And the last one is also not that hard of a needle.
Avoidance is probably what you could expect from 2012 barrage. But I must say that it was pretty charming. Pretty cool atmosphere with the dark soundtrack, dark visuals and gameplay that was based around dot hitbox. Infinite jump helps a lot and honestly the only downside could be the long intro which does fit to the song. There are moments where you need to do some good dodges but that is only for few attacks. Other than that avoidance did not feel that hard to read.
I really liked the sprite choices for the barrage and overall atmosphere.
It is pretty clear that this is an old game, but I enjoyed this game playing it both times, so I do not really feel like giving low rating. I liked the idea behind 2nd and 3rd screen, I found avoidance being decent enough for the time, and I did not end up being frustrated. Maybe I am overrating it, but I think it deserves the good rating.
If you have the access to the game, then try it out. Pretty cool little game.
Would recommend.
