For: I wanna collapse the Versum
"Collapse the Versum" is one of the best adventure games I have ever played. Everything about it is incredible, from the art to the gameplay design. Some parts I wasn't a huge fan of, such as the 4 minute blind save, but even the parts I didn't love were still incredible none the less.

Most of the gimmicks were really fun and unique, with some good examples being the rising water part and the final section with the screen expanding gimmick. However, the thorns gimmick was a bit annoying, with many of the routes to pass those stages feeling less creative and more awkward. It also could've been more clear what you were supposed to do with the items.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a short but sweet gimmick needle.

Review based on clearing v4, without file called 'UNGBLUD-Abyss.mp4'
So, let me get it straight: this game is a disaster.
This game was updated several times, and reviews do not explain well what has happened here. The thing is that author initially released a game, that was rated by themselves as 70 difficulty game. Later on it was apparently 'nerfed' and difficulty level was lowered down.
Game is presented as Adventure game, having needle and avoidance, judging by reviews. Except now it is just an avoidance game without anything else.
I am not sure where has all other content gone, but it seems like author 'nerfed' the game this way. Except now game is a complete joke.
You have a game, running on Shift engine, which is 120 FPS engine. And it is not balanced well to say the least. It lagged quite a lot on my computer and it seemed like lagged for other people as well. I managed to make game lag less. So what made it lag less?
So, as I said, this game now is just an avoidance game. It uses Kaiju No. 8 opening. And I mean that literally. In the game folder you have file called 'UNGBLUD-Abyss.mp4', which is just downloaded video of the opening that weighs 56 megabytes. Now, if you delete this file you won't have visuals, you won't have audio and you won't even have avoidance timer (but even if you have, it resets to 0 as soon as you die). The only thing you will see is black background and Boshy's death sound as soon you die.
However, you will soon see how uninspired this avoidance is. You have some RNG attacks that can wall you in the beginning that last for like 20 seconds. And then you have 1 attack that repeats for more than a minute. It is a ring attack that is quite hard to read even without music video in the background. And now imagine how hard it is to read RNG if you have literal visual challenge in the background.
And to makes things worse - avoidance does not end immediately after song ends. No, it ends like 5 seconds later. Why? Just like why?
I am also feeling like game does not delete objects correctly because over time game seemed to lag more and more even without video running in the background. So you have to close the game. And wait! If you close the game then your stats will reset because there is no 'Continue' option, since author does not give you any saves. Amazing!
And then you have clear screen where you can destroy blocks. Also very cool.
Now, if you want to make a video for this game, I will have to disappoint you and say that this soundtrack (or video?) is copyrighted on YouTube, at least Twilight Cat could not upload their clear on YouTube. So to find original clear, you have to search on Bilibili: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1JaraYiEq8
This game now kinda proofs the title to be true. But at this point the challenge is just to run the game smoothly or to survive visual challenge. Avoidance literally does not give you anything that is worth your time. It is lazy and bland.
I am genuinely surprised how many things are wrong with this game. I have no clues how bad the game was initially but I have heard that 120 FPS needle was something special indeed. So I am glad I had to play only the avoidance, because you can clearly see that game was not tested properly.
I hope author will learn the lesson from making this game, because mistakes were definitely made.
As the game stands right now I highly would not recommend this game.
Update 16/01/2025: Hey, v5 is out! Now needle is back! I will still count this as a clear of v4, since I am not interested in Needle. However, I tried first few screens and you just have black background and a lot of generic jumps. Not very tempted to play if you ask me.
Update 19/01/2025: Apparently if you press restart twice on avoidance, you can mess up that the video of avoidance won't even turn on (or at least it seems like so?). That is funny. Also, if you have save on any other version, and then you open v4, then you can use that save. It seems like v4 has problem with giving proper initial save, rather than having deleted old content. That is also funny.

Dot hitbox avoidance game, which include EX.
Medium difficulty should be a little bit harder than my last avoidance game (The Winter).
EX only changed the hit box to original hitbox, no difference elsewhere.
However, I can't promise whether the EX is humanly possible, so please play EX with caution.
