I didn't like the last stage (ava's) much at all and stopped playing so I will be excluding it from the rating and difficulty. Pretty much everything I say in the main doesn't apply to the last stage as I found it unfun and disliked the structuring. I liked the music ok, and the tiles themselves were good ignoring the structuring. Now onto the real review:
Battle Pass Needle 2 is a pretty simple game, but I really love how much it does with standard needle game ingredients. First off, I really enjoyed the music in every stage, especially the Seefeel song in sheep's final stage. I also found the needle very enjoyable, but very difficult. What I find very special about this game is how it experiments with the structuring to create atmosphere. Sheep does some especially interesting stuff with their structuring, like their first area, which I've never seen anything else like. The songs ,tiles, backgrounds, and gameplay are all really awesome and work together to make something that's more than the sum of its parts.
I could go into each stage and talk about the details that I love, but I feel like typing that much would be kinda excessive lol

This game is only 7 saves long, but the 7 saves are all pretty distinct and stand on their own. Two will definitely stick out for being a lot harder than the rest, but the intro stage, as well as the L and Y stages are very good, they have some really nice feeling needle, in particular I think L is a pretty creative idea for a save, with how a seemingly visual effect becomes part of the gameplay, and Y is pretty simple but it has some nice jumps, I also just like the balancing of it. The M save is the more pure needle of them all, with no gimmicks (not even JTool ones really) and just jumps. It's pretty good, it gets very consistent despite some tricky jumps early on which is appreciated, I think the way the save progresses is cool even if the end is maybe a bit rough, I think it works. The true highlight of the game though is the Flower save, which is such an amazing save. It basically all flows together in a continuous motion, you can take breaks but the save works best if you just keep going, and the movements are so interesting and unique, even just the way the save progresses with a lot of vertical movement both up and down is interesting to me, and I love both learning and playing it. Considering you don't actually need to do L, Y, or M to access this, I'd definitely say the game is worth playing for this alone. Incredibly well put together game, I wish I played it sooner.

unfortunately, you cant play this game after 100M years, because the earth will probably be hit by a huge meteorite and our humanity will be extinct so i think this fangame is impossible. your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandchildren will have to upgrade their hardware every time and leave the computer on because this fangame has no saves lol
