fantastic needle game, on the more precise side for sure. tons upon tons of really fun and intriguing jumps with only maybe two bad saves in the entire game. doesn't abuse named jumps far too often and doesn't abuse typical butterfly nova cancer too much (i.e. 24px vertical landings, those vine gates, the distinctive shurikens though they do appear quite often, etc.) I like the idea of dividing each stage by difficulty - however the difficulties are very distinct: medium is 60ish, hard is low 70s, very hard is in the 70s.
my only complaints are that 1 - the very hard stage has two saves that are somewhat annoying; and 2 - the one-jump screens are often very easy and don't require almost anything difficult. there was one jump (the other hades double plane, the hourglass looking one) that looked like a 1f that confused me at first but turns out was a very simple 2f.
ashotovka stage is fun and easy with somewhat longer saves than the other areas
dudos stage is the easiest except the one apple align save which took about as long as the entire rest of the stage. the align grab is somewhat hard and requires some pretty precise movement. the save itself isn't that hard after that, though
zorgo stage is quite a bit harder than the medium areas, starting off with even the first save being quite rough. this one has a lot of especially interesting maneuvers and precise jumps. 3rd save on the 2nd screen is the hardest save in the game and is solely difficult due to the several 24px vertical gaps, and also the first jump requiring a certain not-so-strict (but still required) vstring to be able to 3f properly. the rest of the stage is fine
P2 stage is my favorite stage - it has the most interesting jumps in my opinion. every save feels meticulously crafted and I feel encapsulates how these games should well and truly feel. never really struggled with anything too bad except screen 3 save 2, even then after learning the general idea behind the 24px, I didn't take much longer to beat it after that.
maxim stage is often shit on for being much harder than the rest of the game, when it realistically isn't that much harder. I got through this stage in a solid 30 minutes, while zorgo stage took about an hour due to the one really difficult save and the save after it. there is one annoying save which I only found annoying because I choked the last jump 10+ times (screen 2 save 3). the rest, however, is not balanced too well since screen 2 saves 2 and 3 carry the difficulty by a good amount.
overall, fantastic collab game centered around a genre of needle that is somewhat underappreciated. highly recommended!

chill miku avoidance with some nice attacks that are never too hard. makes for a quick and easy clear. fight is very fair and you rarely seem to get walled, only the aimed cherry attack near the beginning can wall you if aimed improperly.

very disappointing RNG AIDSfest of a game. this avoidance is just so poorly balanced that it's not even worth playing unless you're good enough to beat it in like one sitting. grinding this felt like just reaching the drop and hoping nothing hit me, over and over and over again. to be fair some attacks would be more readable if I were better at avoidance, but I can't help but think that this game puts you in a worryingly high percentage of bullshit scenarios. I felt like over half my deaths weren't even my fault, as I couldn't really even tell why I died in those cases. this game struggles with bullet density quite bad, as a lot of deaths are attributed to that as well.
the spray attack before the drop is notably often bullshit. also there’s the sudden 1 billion velocity burst near the middle of the drop (aka the infamous “just read it bro”). everything else also requires luck to a good degree but felt at most 50% readable.
not recommended whatsoever, it's unbearably annoying to play

Honestly one of most fun avoidances I've played, there isn't really anything unfair in the whole avoidance. Most of the attacks doenst feel that linear from what is usually been done.
Had really fun with this would recommend that people will play or try it out.

BLB 2 is an eclectic adventure game, featuring lots of incomprehensible inside jokes. There's a story that is available in English or German, unfortunately the English translation is quite poor, so I never really had any idea what was going on. Of course, this does somewhat add to the charm.
The gameplay is similarly all over, with lots of different ideas thrown in. I had a pretty good time with all of it, though it never felt like anything really came together. The platforming parts are ultimately cute, but rather unmemorable. There is a cool puzzle minigame at one point that I had a lot of fun with. The bosses (final aside) were similarly a bit forgettable, though I enjoyed them despite this simplicity.
One thing that makes this game shine is the coin and upgrade system, which add some depth and let you have various options for improving your character. The upgrades all felt natural, and made the game feel a lot more special. One of the upgrades even lets you lower the difficulty, which makes the final boss in particular a lot easier. Due to this, the game is super approachable, and very beginner friendly, while still allowing experienced players to choose a tougher challenge.
The final boss is probably the best part of the game. It's super unique, really memorable, and the jokes manage to be funny even if I don't get them. The second part is super long, going through a lot of creative segments, but yet it keeps a low level of difficulty that stops it from getting annoying.
The game also has some secrets and an alternate ending, which makes it a prime candidate for a replay some day! Overall, I would highly recommend this to adventure fans, especially beginners, as it has a lot of charm while remaining relatively easy.
