For: I wanna defeat the fuduki Final
1 room needle with short saves, and with no saves standing out. Some saves I would have preferred to be placed closer to where you need to jump, since it is annoying having to take a few steps to set up positioning every time.

Made for the Game Jam 2024 where the theme was "Alternate Realities". We wanted to go a different route with it, while also making a relatively short and less difficult game, since we figured a lot of the other games in the jam would scratch that "long and difficult" itch. Enjoy!

For: I Wanna Travel To Alternate Realities Where I Don't Travel To Alternate Realities
A very fun interpretation of the "Alternate Reality" gamejam theme. These two makers have conspired to create a game that is relatively easy and simple, but is quite enjoyable for the humor. I loved seeing what they came up with for each section, there was some serious creativity.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this game, it's quite funny and has a short playtime.

If you're in the numbers room, it's not a two, it's a weirdly drawn question mark. Also, the readme tells you to write stuff down. Believe it.
Many fangames have explored the idea of intentionally discomforting the player, through precise gameplay, uncomfortable visuals, and jumpscares. Submitted as part of the "Alternate Reality" gamejam, bWFsYm9Z2U= takes this to a level I haven't seen before, with the most absurd degree of flashing lights and some genuinely horrible noises. I'm usually on board with this kind of design, but this game went far enough that it was too much even for me. Of course, that is kind of the point, and I do respect it quite a lot. The puzzles are generally interesting, although I found some of them a bit cryptic, and the hints were kind of misleading at times. The gameplay is nothing special, many sections have very little difficulty, but there were some interesting gimmicks at play.
Overall, this is a very strange game. It explores the extent to which you can take user-unfriendly design. Because of that, the experience is downright unpleasant at times. It's an interesting artistic statement, and thus paradoxically entertained me during it's most unpleasant bits. Ultimately, this is very much not for everyone, but it's an interesting game nonetheless, and I would recommend it to fans of harsh design.
