A good peek into RandomErik's mindset behind making the Mind series. Other than that, Nevermind plays like an almost complete demo for something greater, lacking usual polish in favor of getting out in time (for the funny, of course).

One of Carnival's first games, although one that's pretty enjoyable. The idea is that you can get items in the stages to go to other ones, it's not really super in-depth and the mechanic isn't super integral to the game but it's charming. The platforming is what you'd expect, mostly pretty standard adventure stuff with traps which I mostly found enjoyable. The bosses are mostly alright, nothing super notable even considering the refights, mostly because the avoidances steal the show. The first one is the weakest point in the game, tedious and boring, but the second one is a lot more fun, my main complaint is the final attack is a bit much and a lot harder than the rest, but it's not a huge deal, the boss just might take a little while due to that. The final boss is pretty enjoyable as well albeit a difficulty decrease compared to that second avoidance. I like this game in spite of some flaws like the weird amount of backtracking and meh sections scattered throughout, if you like Carnival's work it's probably worth trying.

I don't care for the needle, but the avoidance is a banger.
The only problem I have was the circles at the start are pattern so reading them like RNG will make this seem way harder then the other attacks
