Based on Hard mode (only difficulty that allows you to play avoidance). Needle was fine, stage 1 was way worse than stage 2, and stage 2 was pretty fun. But it's tbh not that important as the factor of avoidance. So the avoidance is really fucking disaster, made me mad almost every moment, because pace was very bad and some attacks are truly disgusting. Also, another very underrated game, which made everything even worse, because i was aimed for yeah something of 40 difficulty
Overall, you might play needle, but the avoidance is really fucking not worth it

Game meant to be a tribute to the Series Mixture Relay games, and while it felt very different I get the inspiration.
It's mostly a good game, espacially the pathing needle stage, traps were mostly cool in the traps stages but felt a bit off later in the game. Bosses are fine, but also a spike in difficulty and the card one has a very unecessary and frustrating post death phase. The number blocks puzzles also felt "try until it works", which isn't very satisfying to do.

At the moment, the campaign mode is the best fangame I have ever played (might be dethroned by something like The Farewell Medley but I haven't played it yet). It's actually 10+/10 level design. I had a blast looking for the gems and beating the extra levels too. It has so many ideas, and it's just perfect. Go play it now.
