Despite being a fan of the Kyir games I've played, for some reason I went into this not expecting to like it very much. I have no idea why, but those were my expectations. I am happy to have been proven wrong. This is a very short and cute needle game with a straightforward final boss at the end. There is a story of sorts as well but it feels very inconseqeuntial, though that may be because I am not familiar with the larger storyline of Kyir's work.
I find the needle and use of jump refreshers to be very much ahead of their time and I was surprised by how smooth it all felt to play. Overall this was a great time.
Also I have no idea why the delfruit difficulty is so high. This is not that bad by any stretch.

Jokes aside, this game is damn good, very deserving of all the praise it's gathered.
Its got variety, its got good music, it's very inspiring, and it's one of the most gratifying challenges I've had so far in a fangame.
An all timer for sure.
