One of the weakest games in the series in my opinion. The gimmicks are just jump refreshers and triggers that activate the jump refreshers. Most of the platforming isn't much improved by adding the required triggers, and it ends up feeling rather plain.

Probably the strongest game in the series. The usage of the directional lines made for really awesome maneuvers and super fun platforming. Do not discredit this game just because it's 32px needle; the mechanics added make it a very fresh and unique experience.
