an otherwise mediocre game that I enjoyed more than any other game of this type for whatever reason
fun traps along with decently difficult platforming is always a good mix
the bosses kinda suck, the end avoidance is whatever, but I feel the platforming makes up for this

About what you'd expect from a tsuta game, a good mix of traps and fun ideas, although with some decently lackluster bosses which I found rather boring. Besides that it's fun enough, I just wish that the avoidance in particular was more interesting, same with the pokemon boss fights as well. Cute little game, worth trying out.

Haegoe is such an interesting creator to me. I find his level design incredibly uninspired. It is the literal definition of corridor needle and it remains that way for most of the game. Despite that though, I still find myself really enjoying his works. There's a higher sense of production and set pieces that most games that look like it lack. The bosses are also always pretty enjoyable, and the final boss in particular was one of the better ones I've played in recent memory. Haegoe games to me feel like they should be bad and yet they're the opposite. I don't fully understand that perspective yet, but to me it makes sense.
