Randy's platforming and avoidance making really just shines in this new style of game he does nowadays and I am glad he likes going at it like this. I still haven't tried the big Full Techno Jackass, but I imagine this is like a small fraction of the power of that game?? Still, this is an awesome game, you just get attacked by all different styles and music, the variety just keeps you engaged. My favorite has to be that mf snake because god damn that was fun to play and that songs just rocks and randy hit everything there. Awesome!!

Adventure game with the vibes of the older stuff but with a feeling of modernization in both the gameplay and the few bits of humor here and there. There are lots of creative platforming but it shines the most on the puzzle areas.
I cannot speak for those number block things because I have never understood and lets be real I kind of just shoot randomly until my brain recognizes something that works, but the switches and call me it lasers with the addition of those blocks are nothing short of fun and awesome to figure out, and they are not taken to the extreme so most people can give them an attempt. Well, sort of, because one of the switch screens is like way harder than the other ones, and from public reaction, it seems like everyone felt that same spike of difficulty.
Still, while a bit weird, I usually do not think of that as a bad thing and just my brain feeling destroyed out of nowhere as more of a me reaction that I cant avoid, since that screen is still great, just be ready to lose games for a bit.
The bosses are great, but that card boss was just a lot for me as well, and it is included in that difficulty spike with the other screen. Got a bit tilted at it but the ideas are good and creative, I'm just too stupid to handle that type of boss. Still felt great to make it through
Still would recommend, it is very creative.

I'd say its good. There's nothing really offensive about it. There's definitely some moments in the game that made me laugh, but the highlights are the high quality avoidances scattered throughout the game. The worst quality of the creator, RandomChaos, is that he takes negative reviews way too seriously and close to his heart, which I think only hurts the games he makes. I know its a tough pill to swallow, but not every game is gonna be liked by everyone. Some people hate the games you create, but a lot of people love them. RandomChaos avoidances are my absolute favourite to recommend to newer avoidance players, since they're always high quality, low bullshit and always a ton of fun. Please, focus on the people you make happy with your games. You're filling a void which other creators have failed to fill for many people. Don't let the negative reviews piss you off or demotivate you from making your games. Not only for yourself, but for all of us.

Okay this game is actually kinda fun, it has some fun concepts, fun gimmicks and from the most part good execution.
I'm sad the avoidances are so short because I had so much fun with them and they are really well made too.
The assets are mostly memes and jokes which I'm just not very fond of but I can ignore them for the most part because the game is fun and chill.
The biggest negative I need to say and that I agree with Bubexel, is that you really just can't do that binding thing. If you really didn't know how to make that bindable (which is like the easiest thing in the world to do because you just need to copypaste the exact same line from the player), just remove the option to rebind, it really isn't that hard to understand. Putting a ""warning"" on the readme and then a ""joke"" screen on the option menu to then proceed to make the game not work is just not a good user experience. The "readme warning" shouldn't be used as a shield for a feature that doesn't work. And I'm sorry to say but "if you didn't pay attention to the warning then you have no right to criticize" is just not a valid point to make for a badly programmed feature.

Ok, let's look at this game like a game. It is about what you can expect from a Randy game. And because of that, this game comes as a medley of his previous gimmicks. They were done as creative as they can be and the bosses/avoidance were pretty cool. There were a few problems I had. The snake fight is quite boring as it is one long autosroller that takes forever to beat and the avoidance ended too soon. Making the autofire for the America not work with rebinds in quite annoying, especially if this was meant for a tournament. Also, please make the cutscene skippable next time to not throw off the short flow. Despite some complaints, I would recommend this game if you want to play another Randy adventure.

An awesome barrage game that's a good pick for beginners who are leaning towards intermediate players. Helltake uses visuals in some really interesting ways, such as using contrast to make the player pick out the white colored bullets that are dangerous against red bullets that won't hit you. In several places it does this style of having a lot of stuff happening, but only a little bit of it actually poses a threat. This creates an interesting dynamic where the player has to figure out which parts are dangerous, where the safe spots are, and successfully tune out the bullets that don't matter. It makes for a quite unique style of avoidance gameplay, and I think it works out really well. It helps that every attack feels like something new, so you're always kept on your toes.
I will say that the beginning felt slightly weaker, with the most generic attacks and the most luck based moments. Thankfully, this being at the beginning mitigated it somewhat, as it could've proven super annoying if instead at the end.
Overall, an easily recommended avoidance, particularly for those wanting to dip their toes into the realm of harder fights.
