a sequel of sequel of I Wanna Beat Mother Love In A Special Way (maybe)
I made this game for 2nd heyan cup
because if i submit a game and the game pass the examine of the organizer i'll get money (money!!!!!!!!!)
but you see, this game is sh*t, so how it pass?
the competition time is 2022.4~2022.7, and until 2022 5.22, no one submit their game to the organizer
so he @everybody and said "just randomly put some trigger and submit it if you dont have time" (and this is the meaning of title screen)
so i spend like 2 hours stole some code of Panasonic Bluray and put some FUN trap and added some SHORT platform and copied some COOOOL shader.
and i submit the game.
and it pass the examine.
and i got 236yuan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (about 32$)
and this is the story of how i earned money from our lovely organizer.
(Well I have to say sorry to the organizers, after all I earned money from submitting a crap game)

More seriously, as a submission for the Shortventure contest, the production value is honestly astonishing. While it's already really appreciated when games made for the event manage to be finished in time, Escape the Mansion goes far beyond that. With hand-drawn tiles, an captivating even though short story, and EVEN VOICE ACTING, the game offers an amazing horror experience, that could easily stand up to the other games of this genre that didn't have any deadline restriction.
Moreover, the boss and credits make a great conclusion for such an enjoyable fangame, and, if I had to be honnest, my initial complaint about the game not being long enough isn't justified, and I think its short length, while probably leaving a somewhat anticlimactic feeling for most people, also contributes to the game's charm and identity, as a short adventure you go through without any expectations, but turns out to be both great and enjoyable right up to the very end.
