Absolutely astounding game, it doesn't even feel like a fangame. The stage design, character design, and the gameplay are all so smooth and polished that it would quite literally serve better on steam. Very well made, and it really could've used a bit more length more than anything!

This review is based on a 100% completion of the game.
Fairly decent game for its time. I really like the aesthetic of being nostalgic retro.
Save balancing in this game is okay for the most part, but the saves get questionable in balancing towards the end. The extra stage also falls into this problem of having some saves being decent while some are not consistent.
I am giving this a higher score mainly because of the feeling, music, and visuals of the game.

Fairly decent needle game, but there are issues regarding save balancing.
There are a few saves significantly harder than others and this is apparent in the middle of the game. This is amplified by the fact they are noticeable from a mile away. I am also bogging down the score because of the bad screen transitions/blind jumps (for the love of god please do not do this).
As a whole, this game is just okay. Nothing too special or noteworthy, but it is dragged down by questionable balancing and bad transitions.

Cute aesthetic but that's about it. Needle in the first stage is much easier than the second, which takes you through the same screen forwards and backwards while throwing in some really annoying jumps in between. I wouldn't recommend, but I wouldn't advise against playing it.
