This review is based on 100% as well as clearing the Purple Crab, without the purple crab the difficulty rating would be around 60-65 for 100% most likely.
This game was absolutely fascinating to play, to the point where I kind of got addicted to it during my session. The whole experience was super strange, the foundation of the game is three wonderful gimmicky needle stages, a gravity one which was super fun to play and maybe my favorite, the plunger one which maybe the most iconic and creative, and the snowboarding one, which was really entertaining. The bulk of the experience is built upon these stages, with tons of secrets and puzzles to get you exploring and coming back. I'm not huge on many puzzles, but the ones offered by this game were very engaging to me, and I had fun thinking about them. This game is truly unique and unlike basically any other fangame, to the point where I feel as if I have to recommend it on principle. It's just super cool that it even exists, and I'll definitely never forget it.

For: I Wanna Be the Shobon
Syobon Action inspired fangame where you play as the titular character. Game has 3 different paths each ending with a boss. There are many traps throughout the game, but the platforming is otherwise pretty straightforward. I personally felt that a lot of the saves were too long and have drawn out sections where not much is happening. The bosses have no iframes and are generally pretty poorly balanced. While I ultimately think this fangame overall falls flat, there is some clear effort and passion put into this game, as well as a general appreciation for fangames in general given how many are referenced, and I encourage the maker to keep trying in the future as I see good potential in them.

Vaguely 5 screen single save FTFA-like needle with cry tileset. There are a boss??? idk at the end without save which is cancer as hell. You can skip first two jumps by just shooting saves.
